Taking biodegradable
leather to the
next level

We achieve the best quality leather, completely ecological, compostable, biodegradable and certified.

DISCOVER THE TRUE GREEN REVOLUTION OF THE LEATHER INDUSTRY

Our commitment
to a better world

The demand for sustainable products by consumers who are more focused to their own well-being and that of our planet is driving a revolution in which companies must also take part.

EVERY DAY, WE ENHANCE THE NATURAL
CYCLE OF LIFE ON OUR PLANET

For the environment, for people, for the product

WE PROMOTE THE NATURAL CYCLE OF LIFE ON OUR PLANET
TO LEAVE A BETTER WORLD FOR OUR CHILDREN

Standards,
norms and certifications

CERTIFIED SAFETY FOR THE ENVIRONMENT,
THE PLANET AND PEOPLE

To achieve Biodegradable and Sustainable items with our products and formulations, we subject them to internal and external tests based on ISO technical standards and norms:

  • STANDARD OECD 302 B / 301 F
All chemicals used have been analyzed according to this standard that determines the Biodegradability of a chemical compound.
  • ISO 20200
Once the various leather articles are developed, we perform internal tests based on this standard, which indicates the disintegration time of a material.
  • iSO 20136
We then proceed with external laboratory tests with this standard that determines the Biodegradability of leather in a liquid medium.
  • UNE-EN 13432
Products are subjected to the only international standard that studies the Biodegradability and Compostability of materials (to obtain the TUV “OK Compost” label or leather “Green Label”).
    This standard includes:
    • Biodegradation (ISO 14855)
    • Disintegration under composting conditions defined during biological treatment (ISO 16929)
    • Plant germination/growth test in compost (OECD 208, EN 13432 annex E)
    • Compost free from toxic substances and heavy metals (ISO 17088)

The true biodegradable tanning for true eco-leather

FROM BEAMHOUSE TO FINISHING: THE COMPLETELY BIODEGRADABLE AND
SUSTAINABLE PROCESS INCLUDES ALL THE PRODUCTION PHASES

The tanning industry involves a large consumption of water, which is why the processes are highly controlled for a significant reduction in water consumption.

The wastewater meets the parameters required by current regulations: highly biodegradable, free of heavy metals, toxic substances, and correct conductivity.

Highly ecological products, free of dangerous substances for both people and the environment. Leather becomes a unique and constantly evolving material.

We want to defend and enhance leather and our industry from apparently alternative products that are not ecological, not industrially practicable, nor obviously qualitatively assimilable. These products that appropriate the word “leather” are synthetic and entirely made of plastic fibers that not only harm the environment but also have a much shorter useful life than leather.
